1a) meters, yards
1b) cm, m
1c) m
2a) 4.2 + 4.2 + 2 + 2 = 12.4 cm or 124 mm
2b) 2.3 + 2.3 + 3.1 + 3.1 = 10.8 cm or 108 mm
3) 6.2 + 6.2 + 2 + 2 = 16.4 Therefore, the perimeter increases by 4 cm
4) 5 + 5 + 3 + 3 = 16 cm; Make sides 6 and 4 or 7 and 3
5) P = 2l + 2w since both lengths are equal and both widths are equal OR 2 ( l + w ) since we could add length and width and then times that number by 2.
7) Triangle P = 1.4 km So sides could be: various answers as long as there are 3 measurements that add to 1.4 km ( i.e. 0.8 + 0.3 + 0.3)
